I have visited this site from time to time on the past 3-4 years. Not a junkie, but sometimes when I am bored or on the road, etc etc.
Well, just last night I was on for the first time in a few months and bought some time and used the credit. Then I bought some more time and all of a sudden I get a message that my account is blocked and the company wants me to fax them a photo copy of a government issued ID card???
Does this sound right?
Has this happened to anybody else?
Please advise.
This is creepy to me.
Thanks. |

Sounds perfectly reasonable -- it's called "exception reporting". When a customer starts behaving differently to the way they "normally" behave the site may be concerned something is wrong.
In this case perhaps someone stole your username and password and it isn't really you. Hence the request for more ID. |
