Another thought? Cam site membership Numbers?

Theses sites say they have so many members. Is this a true reflection of membership?
Can members have multiple ID'S at the same site? Therefore increasing the actual numbers?If they do have multiple ID'S, does the site inform the chat hosts that this user has mutilpe id's and may be the same person as another? For security reasons this seems viable, so the hosts know who is there irregardless of the ID.

Or they count members who signed up 5 years ago and have not been back one time!


Just like number of hosts is also a greatly inflated figure.

So the numbers are inflated.
So when a member unsubscribes he or she is not deleted from the sites system? Giving the illusion of site popularity? Would that not be false advertising and if they are deleted from the system won't that reflect on the numbers.
Sounds like the site keeps the members info, on file for future reference. Is that a standard practice? If they were to sign back up, at the same site, does the site know they were signed up previously under a different user name? And then add them as a new member again? For the numbers of course. lol
As for the models, how can they inflate the number if they don't have the numbers. No doubt models come and go, but when they chose to leave do they not have the option of deleting all of their profile and info, pics, vids etc. Or can they take all of this with them as they worked hard to build a profile and customer base.
I would think if a host or guest is deleted from the system, that is what it means and the number should reflect that.
On another forum, there was quite a lot of talk in regards to pirated videos.Most were from sites offering free chat. As this is a blatant ripoff of a host's hard labours. What do most sites do to prevent this? With technology today there should be something in place to inform the host it is happening or prevent it all together.
I'm not sure if I can post their address here so I won't at this time. Are most hosts aware this is happening? I will post the address later if it is okay. As it can be a good source of info not only for the experienced but especially for those starting out.
