this message is to the Hony (moderator) what do you think about having a section on advertment stating the good places and the bad places to advertise. Warnings rip offs etc. or good hits as well. Let talk about it.

Not to post advertisements, but to let webmasters know where are the best places to permote there web sites and where the rip off places are.

To help fellow cam masters get help on advertising questions and find good resorces. No spaming advertisements allowed.

yes i think this is a great idea and would be very helpful i tried to start something similar up in athread few months back but no one seemed interested really but is def worth loking at again

Ok I think this is right (its a while since I added a new forum) ... Only chathosts should be able to see or post to this section.

It should only be avaiable to those people who I have added to the Chathost usergroup -- but the truth is I have no way of validating that people are REALLY chathosts.

There is a posibility to verify if the people are really chathosts, but it may take you some time. For example i can tell you (personaly) the site i work on and the model name there and you can come in my guest chat and ask me the name from here.

Does someone want to take on that responsibility? To be honest I don't have the time and I think it may be unfair to some chathosts who don't have any friends here who can verify them.

Interesting proposition, though im not sure is only dependant of time.

Many hosts dont talk to guests, or in free at all.

and also, how to ask, without having to say the address of this forum or anything. There are some camhost sites that have very strict (if not stupid) rules about mentioning other sites, even if they are not camhosting sites.

But even so, i think would be a good thing to do.

I could try taking on the responsability. But would need first to know what would be the procedure.
