REBUTTAL/MISUNDERSTANDING TO THIS BELOW.
ImLive barely gets traffic anymore for me. Or for many others. I am often busy with other things and so I cannot type to many of the guys that go in their non-video freechat. I have been baraged with people wanting to meet me in person or j/o to their own writing!! I admit, my typing there is not great. But to lower my ranking down to bottom of list of 5 star camgirls !!!!! I lost total dedication to trying to get prizes, etc, years ago when a check came up missing and how I was treated regarding said check. So I am no longer available for the frenzy over competitions. Not enough hours in the day. I don't hate imlive.
Yes girls, now they decide to penalize and disable your account if you are not responding to a guy's constant typing in freechat....HELLO????!!! Let that guy go to the next room. Imlive has always been like that, whereas if you are in show, they keep typing in freechat, with no response.... But now you are supposed to do shows and type at the same time? ? I can be octopussy, lol.... If 3 ignores and room closed 3 x, in any payperiod, you won't be able to open your room for 24 hours ! Sounds like a way to make models ticked off and cause imlive more drama and lost revenue than the complaints they are getting. As in loss in manpower/production time/model esteem with site.
It would make more sense to let a model block her freechat console, or make the room as full kick out others when she wants it to?. . Whether she types on the right side of screen should not be an issue.....It seems that imlive originally wanted to make it easier for the guys to meet models, but I don't know that the end result would be beneficial. Just my 35c out of a dollars worth !! You get 65c, so the ball is in imlive's court.

It appears you won't be able to block a "customer" of ImLive. However, as much as I hate the penalizing thing, I am unclear as to if the new "set the room as Private" frees you of the having to type in freechat" without penalty.
However, I do think this will only to be favorable to those that are ok with typing in the free. The new format looks nice.
I really believe they want to up their conversion.... So who am I to judge, I will just will have to go by the rules....

You got it wrong hun.
The 3 ignores leading to your account being frozen have absolutely NOTHING to do with the free text chat.
Here's a quote from the Host News:
Hosts that ignore guest requests will be penalized:

-If there are 3 or more instance in one day when it takes you more than 20 seconds to answer a Guest request your room will be closed and you will be set as offline.
-If you are set as offline 3 or more times in a given pay period you will be blocked from opening your video chat room for 24 hours.

This ONLY applies to PAYING guests, if it takes you more than 20 seconds to click the OK or CANCEL button in order to allow or deny a member in your VIDEO CHAT these rules apply. You can ignore the text chat at any time, although it's best to first check the free chatter's membership status, if he's got an (f) after his name he can still be a GOLD or a VIP.

I don't know where you got the idea that you can no longer kick/block a guest from your room either, because the kick/block works perfectly fine.
I cannot say i completely agree with this new rule, nor that i love it too much, but I don't find leaving your room online while you go watch TV or simply fall asleep like some hosts do, too fair to the members either. So with this new 20 seconds rule the promptitude of hosts should improve, which is good.
I am not as happy with ImLive as i used to be in the past, although my reasons are not related to the new rules, but you are over reacting, and you have missunderstood the rules.

ImLive believe in providing excellence service to its members and therefore hosts are requested to respond to members’ chat requests within a reasonable time frame. On the other hand, ImLive still believes in our hosts' right to decide who enters their chat room and when, thus our members still need to be acknowledged by our hosts before entering their chat room. Thank you.

My ranking went up. Again, I wish camhosts were mass emailed an alert before this new feature got introduced.
With the new format, a camhost has to QUICKLY CLICK THE BUTTON as to whether they WANT to allow someone in their PAID video or not.
Freechat is same as always. I was unclear at first. The new feature's appearance looks great and more PAYING guests will not be ignored, so this is fine with me.
The "Block A Specific Guest" Feature does not work anymore. Either does seaching for said persons in "User Black List" tab....(non-alphabetized list also)..
This causes me to have to write down screennames for who is blacklisted on a sheet of paper until these features work. I blacklist minute men and I am sure I am not the only one who does this..... No reason for guys to do this when we have intro and paid videos to see what we look like.

I don't know if you are saying you are having this issue personally, or implying every host is having this problem.

If it's the latter, you are incorrect. My Black List Button and Block a Specific Button is and always has worked. You may want to email ImLive directly before announcing as if all the hosts are having problems, such as your original previous posting too, which was in error. Just a suggestion.

The block USED to work all the time. Just hasn't like the last week since they changed the format. Yes, I have informed the site. They are looking into this. Also they did not leave me or others a clue as to the ranking thing and penalizing. They could of clarified and should of BEFORE, so hosts know what is going on. These posts are to inform, not slight others. Like I said, I don't hate ImLive, actually they are getting better. They still could use more traffic. I used to make at least 600% more business from them and all that business was on repeats...Now it is a new group of repeats. I treat the guys that see my pvts super well, as I enjoy what I do and rely on those repeats.

That is a shame that Imlive Customer Service doesn't think in providing the same service for the hosts. The hosts are customer as well, internal customers from Imlive and without them, there is no Imlive.

lols, indeed.
But I think ImLive rather screw their members too than actually care for them:

US customers: 1 dollar for 1 credit.
EU customers: 1 euro for 1 credit
UK customers: 1 pound for 1.3 credits

And when every host is still getting 30 $cent for every credit there is a huge part of the money from EU and UK customers that imlive is keeping in their pocket.

With the current conversions it is something like this:
US member is paying $1, host is getting $0.30
EU member is paying $1.55, host is getting $0.30 (1 euro is $1.55)
UK member is paying $1.50, host is getting $0.30 (1 GBP is $1.95)

Either let me have 1.5 credits for every euro, and have UK customers almost two credits for every pound or give us all back the $ and make it a lot more transparent.
No matter how many sweet words imlive is using, they lost my confidence in them.
