I have heard that there are people that get webcam girls to sign up with them, they get them webshows with iFriends or others, and take a piece of the action. Is this for real?

That was the idea that was suggested by many sites, in that they are offering a commission. However I don't see much of that.

What you do see is "studios" where someone provides the place, the computer/webcam, and sometime the translator! So that girls without those things can perform.

Studio bosses get a cut of the profit of course -- sometimes they are crooked and get ALL the profit too.
