PLEASE HELP - Voice chat on IMs

I have windows vista home, Yahoo msgr Beta 9 and cable/broadband internet access.

Trying to branch out independently, and today was my first day doing shows on Yahoo/MSN. Actually sold a show but had to refund because the damn voice wouldn't work on Yahoo. Poor guy was VERY nice and understanding about it but I was mad as hell because I could have made more in 15 minutes than I sometimes do in 4 hours on my current site. We tried going on to MSN and voice didn't work there either. So I wasted a whole hour of my and his time, had to refund him and he then went and found someone else. Blah.

Mic and speakers work fine, it actually says 'calling' in my window on YIM when I try, but an attempt later with my hubby proved that it is MY system at fault. Have deinstalled YIM, installed the latest Beta version and a codec that was available... all to no avail. Odd that it doesn't work on MSN either. Audio works fine on my other site, cam works fine on both - is just the call function. Telephone isn't really an option as I live in Australia.

Have fiddled some more and with the help of YTunnel Basic it seems to work now.

Still no idea how to make it work on msn though. Argh. lol

Is your ISP blocking voice? I don't know what "YTunnle Basic" is but the word Tunnel is used sometimes to talk about software that gets around blocks.
