ok, just a little paraniod, but can the guest be recorded in cam2cam. Some of the sites offer viewing of recorded sessions. I always assumed this was the host only. Has anyone every heard of a guest's identity / privacy being compromised??

No the sites don't record the guest, they can't if they are following their privacy statements.

I am sure if they don't they will be in big law suits and you won't see that stie around much longer.

but if the host has a recording software, i am sure they can record your cam if they want to like using snagit.

Has anyone ever heard of anything like this happening. I've done quite a bit in c2c and would die if my video was ever shown.

Also, it may be that people have a similar nickname, but some models that I don't recall doing a show with seem to know me and sometimes know my prefrences. Is is common for the performers to talk about some of their guests?

Yes, of course it can be done just like it can be done for the models. If you turn off 'overlays' then most any capture program can capture anything that shows on screen. Not very likely anyone would bother, but if there were some reason it'd be easy for them to do. Most importantly be careful of sites where other customers can view your webcam like Amsterdamlive etc, a customer is easily ten times more likely to cap something.

Plenty of the sites have notes you can leave yourself for the models, so of course would be equally trivial for them to be able to have notes for you. Not really a big deal, it's probably just so they don't have to play 200 questions to figure out what things you like..

Jrock, in this day and age of the internet it's ok to be cautious.

If you want to avoid the situation described above by hotbabee, may I suggest going with girls who work independently from home? I do, and I don't talk about my customers to anyone. I'm also the only one who sees their cam and who talks to them, because I work alone. Sure I take notes to remember names, preferences etc., but that's as far as it goes.

I think chathosts ought to respect their viewers, especially the ones who go pvt, as without the customers we would be out of a job.

I respect all my members' privacy and would never dream of recording them on cam (even if I did know how!). Why? What on earth would be in it for me??

Wel, you are right Sapphire, girls working from home can't discuss anything with anyone, but they can still record the members if they want to. I would recommend generally to hosts and members too that they shouldn't show anything on cam that they would feel bad later when finding that info or video on net or somewhere. And we shouldn't forget about hackers either, who can steal anything from your computer.Ok it doesn't happen every day, but they are always "playing around" without looking for anyone specific so I never store nude pics of myself on my computer etc. We have many members who only show themselves fron under chin so he can be happy to show off his body and still keeping his privacy. Just like me, when I'm not in nonadult, I never show my face, because I don't want to be a famous camgirl or something, I just want some extra money and I know showing my face and naked body together could hurt my career anytime..Have a nice day!
