What is the busiest season regarding traffic for being a webcam model? The slowest season?

Different opinions about this. I think it depends what kind of guy you attract.

Overall for the industry Dec seems best and summer seems slowest.

I think it reflects bored guys sitting at home -- in the summer they can hit the beach and watch the bikinis, but in winter is is all depressing; they see other people partying with familly and girlfriends so they need a little comfort online.

Yes, I agree with you, Hony. It does seem like traffic is slowing down a bit. Temperatures are already near 80 in northern states.

Very slow this month.

I am using big discounts though; that helps.

Seems like using discounts is much better than dropping your price. Because when I was brand new--starting at 98 cents a minute for newbies only--guys were still asking for discounts!

Lots of people -- not just webcam but the whole adult area -- are saying slow down at the moment.

Something about good weather and people would rather be on the beach than at home playing with themselves!

I think it was at this site that someone said traffic starts picking up in late August/early September.

Boy, was she right! I've been a webcam model since mid-April and yesterday I had my BEST DAY EVER! Beating out my record best set on my first day at work--by 16 cents! Wow was I busy! Even before that, things were picking up. I'm very happy about that. It was depressing dipping into my savings because of low traffic much of the summer.

I hope for MUCH TRAFFIC for everyone!
