Hello, I have been very interested in becoming a chathost model for over a year now and I am currently deciding to go ahead and try it. I have lots of questions and need any advice that you might have for me, I would really appreciate it. Here are some of my questions...

I am currently looking into CamContacts and Streamray. CamContacts has all of my info, I am basicly waiting to get a few things set up here at home to start. Are these two sites good for starters?

I currenty work part time at a restaurant and I am so fed up I am ready to quit and hopefully make enough being a model to make what I make there. I need to make at least $600 a month. Do you think I can do this? Of course, I would love to make a lot more so I have some spending money for myself and my two little ones!

Are there any certain props, backdrops, etc that I need for my room? Any certain cameras, software, etc? I cannot afford a digital camcorder as of yet so I will have to use a webcam for now. Will that be ok?

I am thinking of doing girl alone and then also doing couple at a different site and include my boyfriend. Does BDSM make more money with couples?

Taxes.......... How do I go about filing my income tax? Do we get W2 forms or anything of that sort? I live in the US.

becoming a chat host can be very rewarding if your willing to put the effort into it.

I always keep a regular income on the side no matter what I am doing anything can happen. You can make $600 a month doing webcam shows, but it will not happen right away. some girls can make that each pay period too. but not at first. Take times to build up your schedule and a fan club.

Save a portion of every pay check you get one for your self, one for buying stuff for business and one for the little ones even if its $5 each pay.

You will learn the props you need as you go on. to start off right now you need good lights, a webcam or video camera, and as for softwares there is many of them out there but you really just need Fwink it's free and split camera if you want to work on more the one site at the same time or if you want to record or take photos from your cam shows to add in to your fan clubs on cam.

Look around the different girls rooms in streamray in free chat to get a vibe of what they have in the backgrounds you need to find one that fits well with your theme.

but for now just to get out there and get things going go with your webcam, good lights and a basic neutral background to work with.

And also for taxes. it varies from state to state and country to country.

You can write off a lot of things related to your business, internet service, computer repairs and upgrades, outfits, phone lines, etc

Remember your the business so everything you spend virtual goes to the business. you can even write off take out deliveries as well. but it varies from Canada to USA and each state in the USA.

Thank you so much for the fast reply! I was also looking around and I was thinking of trying to get into SouthernCharms. What is you opinion on them? I thought it might be good traffic to my cam sites if I get accepted there. Then I can also get a cut out of the profits from the members area of my site.

I will keep the restaurant job. But, if I end up doing good online I might jsut work like 2 days a week there, just enough to keep my foot in the door. I have been there 11 years since I was 16 so I am sure that I will not have a problem going back even if I would give a notice and quit. But to be safe I will work minimal there.

Southern-charms is a good place. There is also other sites out there who offer a similar deal to southern-charms.

I am very comfortable with Karma. That is also my name on Xbox live. (Yes, my boyfriend got me into it, lol!!!!) People already call me that and I like it.

How soon did it take you girls to start making decent money? Decent to me is about $600 - $700 a month, just enough to pay my share of the household bill to get by. I would love to make more then that though but I am not expecting anything because I dont want let down!
