I need your feedback and suggestions.
I've been trying for the past 3 months to resell a LiveCamNetwork License from 2much Internet Services. The license is for a turn key web cam site. It has lot of pretty features and set-ups, but it just wasnt working out for us. I'm not interested in paying 2Much any longer to promote their own site and software package.
I'm not using the license anymore and I want to sell it. How do I go about that? I do not mind negotiating the price, I already made a little bit of money using the software.
Someone told me that I would never be able to sell the license because
2much does not have the best reputation in the industry. The webmasters on the network are constantly complaining and realizing that the roi on their investment is going to be minimal.
Have I lost my investment completely or is it something that I can do?
Thank you! |

| It's hard to sell something that you yourself have decided you don't like! If you don't like it, how can you recommend it to someone else? |

you need to be lieve in the product so it can sell. I agree with Hony. |

Exactly. You won't be any kind of a salesperson if you don't have a good thing to say about the product your selling.
How much are you looking for now for the licence anyway? Is the domain included?
Would you be interested in using your licence to buy equity in a soon to be established live cam company? Or perhaps sell for a combition of shares in the new company and some cash?
I would maybe be interested in looking into a deal such as that.
Or maybe, have you considered starting the site back up on a limited scale, with just a few models on it and divert some of your traffic to the site. You would get a far better price selling it as a "going concern" instead of just selling a licence. If you are selling the entire package to somebody (where they can see the trickles of cash starting to come through) you will have plenty of offers if you advertise in the right places - I would say a price of double or even triple what you spent on the licence could be achieved if you put in the time and effort.
Other than that, maybe hire someone to sell it for you for a cut of the proceeds. Maybe an online marketer who is less involved in the industry and who could write some attractive sales copy to help move the licence.
As you say, people involved in the live cam business already will have heard plenty of not so great things about the software and service in question, maybe you should look further afield for a buyer.... |
