Good point. Working hard is important.
I believe that working smart is more important.
According to the TV program recently on HBO, Danni Ashe's
company has annual revenue of $5,000,000.
She did it by delivering her product and service to about 10,000 members per month... not by trading minutes in a room for dollars per minute
one person at a time.
Any day you don't work, you probably don't make a single dollar, because there is no recurring money for your hard work from yesterday.
She did it by being her own boss, not working for someone else for 50% of the money (or less). She doesn't keep the whole $5,000,000 of course. She must pay employees, models, equipment, etc.
She did it by ignoring the "experts" who believed at the time that,
"for the female to make money online, she does certain things in front of the camera and lets everyone else tell her what to do."
"for the man to make money, he owns the website, the cameras, takes the pictures and videos, does the 'business' part. "
My software gives you a chance to publish to members who pay you, but without there being a "site" to go to over and over (which also means no website for you to take care of). Once they have my software too, they get what you publish, automatically. Since it's automatic, your audience can be bigger because fewer people get away and forget to click on you.
My software also displays what you publish on their screens.
That's smarter than trading minutes in a room for dollars per minute.
At least in my opinion, it's clear.

| Yes Romanian chathosts who work in studios make abaut 500$/month and hardworkers 1500-2000$. But u know that in Romania 80% of people win about 150-200$/ month for 8 hours working in shops, companies, etc. The minimum salary is 100$ and romanian chathosts who make abaut 500$/ months live like princesses in Romania. And 70% of chathosts are simply students,they spend money for nothings,clothes, clubs,etc. |

shouldnt speak in other's name,darling. maybe u r one of that category. but there r girls who work in this business to support themselves and who family,school and all. me ..thats what i do..no fucking around in clubs and things like that..and $500/month is not much at all when u have to pay rent and all the bills...princess |

| i didn`t spoke in others name i just said my opinion....what i see around me. Maybe you are one of the 30% chathosts who use that money for rent and family, congratulation, but i don`t think u make career from this...and after few years what u will do? you will work in Romania for 200-300$ salary? i don`t think so....you will not go down again...and then will be bad for you! i`m not a princess...i know my limits! |

Thats why I do not really understand the whole concept behind cheap per minute rates for cam or phone. Working ones "bum" off over & over again for peanuts to accumulate the same amount as a few higher priced longer sessions baffles me. It must also be very tiring and frustrating. I know it works for many but I can't work that way.. I need to stay calmer and more focused, more personal and I could not do that if I had to do 50 "quickies" a day. I don't want to be frantic at the end of the night from too many quick cheap shows!
As for the romanian or other woman that are working in studios etc. for small bits of cash I think that it is TRAGIC, then again I think that minimum wage in america is TRAGIC! Anytime a human anywhere works in sub-standard conditions or for slave wages it is HORRID! Women do indeed need to "wise up" and stop short changing themselves. Webcam is a valid service and business and we all need to be professional about it and not be taken advantage of... or take advantage of others.

no one said it is a future career,but its something that improves ur income, even if u have a steady job.as that it will be or not bad for me..lol dont think so |

Why do you say "Romanian chathosts" -- do you think it would be more or less than from other countries?
I thought one of the great things about the internet is that bassically everybody is playing in the same space. So any earnings would be similiar regardless of where you are -- and be based on your skills (and looks).

Wish it were true, but there's a reason 75% of camhosts are from Czech Republic, Romania, Russia, Hungary, etc. -- they work for less money. Just like in the "real world", it's called outsourcing. The work goes to those who will do it cheapest.
The reality is that "western" performers are too expensive in comparison so, from my experience, you see them more on ImLive, iFriends, etc. where more people work on their own, from home, etc. In many Eastern countries that's not an option so they work from a studio. |

There is no such thing as "absolute terms", even for money.
Consider the question....
"Why should the gallon of milk cost more in the area XYZ?"
The price that "works" is the price that will be.
The pay that "works" is the pay that will be.
No difference.
The fun starts when people "in charge" muck up the works with
tarrifs (aka taxes), unions (aka taxes), subsidies (aka taxes) and oh, did I mention taxes?

| When my wife was in Romania she was pulling in about $500 a month then she decided to buy her own computer and internet connection and work from home. She ended up making less. Studios provide the girls with a reason to work. Or else they get fired. When she came here (USA) she freaked out cause now she pulls in 3k a month with no problems. She just said to me the other day "if I worked in Romania like I work here I would live like a queen." She did not understand the cost of living the USA. I was the other way around. Looking at apartments in downtown Bucharest for 30K and being totaly shocked at what you can get for the money. Over here 30K can't buy you a trailer home in some parts of the country. If you work hard and give yourself a schedule and stick to it you can make the 3k USD there (RO). The only problems you will have is the high cost of an internet connection but I hear its comming down. If the cost of the connection comes down to USD prices studios will go out of business in 1 year to 6 months. Thats why there are no studios in the USA. To easy for a host to set up shop in her own home. Can't be done in a country where the economic structure is so that people can buy toys just to buy them. 3K USD can be made in just about any country with hard work. But thats been said already here. |
