| I would really like to meet the model who makes 120 an hour. Its 9pm eastern time on Tuesday. It appears one model is live and her video is grainy. If she stays still, I can see her fine, it she moves, she fades out and back in. I checked another site to make sure nothing was wrong on my side, that site was perfect. I will try to check back in a few weeks to see if it has improved any. Right now, I wouldn't spend money there, even though the model online, Criss, has lovely eyes and is very attractive. |

I think many could be (should be) making more than this when/if you combine sales of non-per-minute products with that of per-minute products.
A FUI Fan Club with $20 per month memberships that captures even
a few percent of the traffic who consider even $1.49 per minute for private outrageous would build into quite a nice chunk of cash over time. Website, Studio, Camhost... everyone can win.
Let's see...
1000 people per week to the site who don't buy per-minute
(and never will)
Capture 5% to join a FUI Fan Club for free. That's 50 per week
Capture 10% who keep it beyond the trial perdion. That's 5 per week.
hmmm... that's a lot of numbers already. Better to see it as a spreadsheet.
Okay, here's a spreadsheet I just made:

You can plug in numbers that match your business (e.g. traffic per month who don't pay-per-minute), your predictions for take-rate (e.g. free trial, membership) and the per month charge, even predict how long the typical member will stay a member (I believe the member attrition rate will be much smaller than old-fashioned pay adult websites, but we'll see).
The example I started led to $22,800 in revenue in the first year. Conservative numbers and still, nothing-to-sneeze-at results.
Or we can just keep letting thousands of prospects slip away every month because we only offer pay-per-minute products at price points that suit a small percentage of the marketplace, just like every competitor.
I believe that cam-rooms are the best way to advertise for the products and services that make serious money, beyond per-minute privates.
Someone once said, "You can make a nice living doing it, but no one ever got seriously wealthy trading their hours for someone else's dollars."
