It doesn't happen a lot from what I read, but when it does, I think, wow! Talk about hypocrisy:

I get annoyed a little when hosts say bad things about guests like: they are pathetic people, lonely desperate people who can't get a real girl, idiots, weirdos, etc.

Everyone has their hobby and some choose going to webcam sites. Plus, it's a holier-than-thou attitude. Hosts participate in this too. MANY people could say we are sluts, whores, webcam prostitutes, etc. So what right do some hosts have to judge and say nasty, derogatory things like the above about guests.

And who knows, maybe many host's husbands or partners are guests too at other adult sites without them knowing.

Anyway, I just wanted to vent a little about that.

Actually I have to disagree with one point -- hosts DO come here to bitch and whine. The thing is I do not approve those posts. This upsets some people (I hear a lot of complaints about censorship and "free speech") but heck it's my forum. If people want freedom to bitch they can go set up their own forum, you can get one for free even lots of places.

Just wanted to reply from a guest's perspective. I'm sure that some guest may be as described. However, I would also bet there are two groups of relatively normal people that also join cam sites:

1) Very young adults that just can't get enough. They may look fine and have dates once in while, but are just not satisfied.

2) Married guys that are also "normal" but crave more sexual adventure.

Anyway...just another perspective.

I highly Doubt there are any webcam " Hosts" on this forum, at least not the ones you see on the big sites. In fact im willing to bet that 95+% of those who have posted here as Hosts and or Girls are just Wanker Guys.

No need to comment on this post , if you can prove your a host - good for you - If you cant well then you Know what I said is True.
But as to the host with attitudes, I have this to say - If it wasn't for Horny, Loser, Wanker Etc.... Guys paying them 2,3,4 and more dollars per minute to see them on some tiny 3 x 3 " video they would all be on the street doing what they do best.
A Cam Model job is Not Only the Only Job available but in most cases is the best job available in the countrys where they originate and whatever % of the Per Min Fee they get still equates to way more then the avg. Worker in those countys makes.
It is also the Only Job where Income potential is basically limitless, or Limited ONLY bye their desire to work. Not to mention probably the worlds easiest job, All the whining and bitching is a joke - Bottom line is they are paid to Wank!!! - Can any Guy imagine that job? LMFAO.
The joke is that there are so many Lazy ones that have the attitude, they actually Pretend to be wanking etc.. and they arent even good at hiding that its fake ( fingers folded under , pretending to be Fingering etc.. )
Most Unfortunaltely are just to Lazy, greedy or plain stupid to understand that the job they have is basically a gold mine to those with a brain.
My advice to all Cam whore - Smile , Keep your worthless opinons to yourself and laugh about it all ;ater when you go to the bank with the Money we give you.

You also have no idea what you're talking about since you've never been on the other side of the cam so please keep your idiotic opinions to yourself. Almost all comments on here are posted by actual CHATHOSTS. Do your research before you start talking.

SOMFW, you really have no clue about anything do you? Yes, some of these girls make a killing doing chat, but many barely make subsistance living.

It all depends on the site and whether she is working for a studio and the studio itself. I cannot speak for many sites or studios, but of the ones I know of:

1 paid about 10 cents per minute per customer but capped the amount the model could earn in a single shift to about $60. So the good models often hit their cap for the day halfway through their shift and the rest of the time were working for free. Damn, talk about unlimited potential!!!!!!!!

Another paid the model about 7 cents a minute per customer (but the boss was notorious for fudging the number of minutes the models had customers downward)

Another paid a flat rate of $30 per day (6hr shift) with a bonus if the model had at least 1 customer at all times (like that ever happens).

While I cannot speak for all sites/studios, from all that I have read.... the above doesn't seem that uncommon for eastern european and russian studios.

So you tell me, would you work like they do for $5/hr?

And before you start in on saying I was fed some sob story from a model to get me to stay longer, those are from ex-models who I kept in touch with after they quit chat (and no they were not asking me to send them money). As for the countries that those studios are from, the cost of most things is on parity with what things cost in the US, so think about how much fun it is to live on minimum wage here.

Yes, that may be a better job than they can get otherwise, but there may be a reason for that. Maybe, just maybe, chat is the only job that has a flexible enough schedule that they can go to school because most other jobs require that they work from 9am-9pm 6 days a week. Or maybe they work it as a night job because their regular job also only pays subsistance living. Or maybe because in their country, women still don't have equality and as such, getting a "real" job is about as easy as getting a "real" in the US with a GED.

Blacksexxx is right, you sound like you fell for a model, got played, and now try to convince yourself that it wasn't you, that they are all just whores who would hump a dead goat if you waived $1 in front of their face. Either that or you just have such a low opinion of women that you assume your mom would drop panties for a ten spot.

Pay capped at $60 per day? Ugh. I am so glad that computers and high speed internet get more common everyday worldwide. Indie is the only way to go.

Why do I cam?

Because I like the creative satisfaction that I get from my work. Because I can come and go as I please without having to report to anyone else. Because I can start my day polishing up my search engine optimization technique, then do a hot roleplay scene with one of my playmates, and finish up the day with some video editing.

Trust me, there is plenty else that I, and a lot of others, could be doing for a living. We choose to do this because we can.
