I have three questions:
1) Am I correct in my understanding that, girls are expected to give shows in "Free Member chat"?
2) Payment for these shows is totally dependent upon "members" tips!!
2) And is this statement really likely to be realistic "Models can earn more money in the free rooms than the pay rooms because a lot of customers want to give tips instead of paying per minute."?

Personally, I would not feel too good giving shows hoping for tips (presumably given after the show!!) and a 1$ life time membership is NOT going to deter the beggars if they can get shows for free!!

I think it's up to the host to decide what you do in free chat -- My presumption is that this will be teaser chat just like streamray etc. The line about "This is free chat. Nude chat is better" implies to me that free chat has no nudity and hence is not a "show" in the way mosts hosts think of it.

So members paying a $1 fee for "lifetime membership" basically get into free chat but if they want a show they have to pay $2.99/$3.99. Otherwise what's the point of having paid chat if everything is available in free? Just my interpretation.

I saw it as a better deal for hosts than some other sites with free chat given the membership requirement and the tipping potential.

I've re-read the info in both Studio & Performer FAQ's and I think my first impression is correct!!

"You will earn money from in the free room by getting customers to [b]tip you for your performance[/b] or getting these customers to enter the nude chat/premium chat room" I'm pretty sure they expect girls to give shows in these "free rooms" and hope they receive a tip AFTERWARDS........

I don't see how you come to that conclusion, the text you quote quite clearly says that the girls are expected to try to get the viewers into nude (e.g. paid) chat. Therefore the free chat is non-nude -- as is normal with most sites.

I'll send an email to the site and ask for clarification.

Notice the "OR" so there are two ways to earning in Free Chat, give shows for tips OR get customers into "per minute" nude (gang) chat/ Premium (1-on-1).

Ok the difference in our opinion perhaps is because is in my mind "performance" does not equal "show". Performance can be flirting and teasing. "Show" means nude and toys!

I've asked someone from that site to give me clarification, will pass it on when received.

To answer your questions:

1) Customers tip you BEFORE you do anything in free chat. You tell them "Give me $10 and I will do...."

2) You don't have to do anything in free chat if you do not want to. It is purely your discretion. The only thing you cannot do is be very rude to customers

3) The reason we say free chat is better for some is that it gives you more opportunity to build relationships with customers.. and a better relationship equals more money

4) The only people who enter free chat are members who have already joined with a credit card so all they have to do is enter a tip amount and it gets credited straight to you, they don't have to enter their credit card # again, etc.

One thing that the site does for those that view is that it pre-authorizes a $100 charge for the member once they enter premium. On 12/26 the site supposedly was not working properly and I tried to enter premium on several different occassions. It ended up preauthorizing $1500 to my bank account which was subsequently frozen by my bank on suspicion of fraud. Has anyone had a similar experience?

Needless to say I wasnt a fan after that. So I cancelled the whole account.

I worked for this site for a couple of weeks and there is no money to be made there. The tips feature is ridiculous. They expect it all for a lousy buck. Also, if you email them to ask them a question, they will bark back instead of giving a reasonalable response.

Webcams tested their new beta system today and I think it's great. As a member it allows u to make the screen bigger, all the way up to full screen and it looks great. It also makes it simple and easy to buy credits, tip, and enter xxx chat (used to be a little tricky). You also get a credit tracker so you can see what's left.

For hosts it gives you the option to kick or ban a member from your room. You can now change your font size, color, smiles etc. You can also disable your video without signing off so you can get dressed or whatever. It also has an "earnings" button, so you can check from your room.

The old system is back on right now, but should be back to the new one in a few days.

Also within the last week they came up with a new page rank system. it used to be determined by who had the most and highest ratings. So the veterans had the top spots locked up. But since too many members were getting free shows for ratings, now the ranking is determined by who spends the most % of their time in private.
