I happen to love webcams. I work iFriends at the same time, and webcams is my bread and butter. The money is great to me, I've been on the 1st page since day 1 so maybe thats the reason. But I think the site is great, sure beats Ifriends. I was making 2k a week their in lesbian chat, but since I went solo it's terrible.

This was one of the sites I had it narrowed down to. (Looking at LiveJasmin, ImLive and Webcams.com) What I liked about the site was that it says you can block certain areas....
But, I too was confused about the tip in free chat.
It appears as though you are expected to do certain things in free chat. I can't imagine, like the one post on here said, that you could as a guy for a 10 dollar tip before you did something...
What if he wants to see your breasts? He can see that in private for 2.99. It does seem a bit confusing and even more so since I found this thread.
Although, if handled properly, one could make money off this site, depending on how well you could "haggle"... This will be totally based upon what the guy is willing to spend and how much you can talk him up or he may move on to someone else who will show him everything for a dollar.... that you get just 40 percent of!!!
I didn't like the post about not getting paid. That is a HUGE annoyance and immediate deal breaker with me.

Does anyone have any up to date (2007) experience with webcams.com or any additional information?

getting a tip in webcams is just another way to make money Most of the time guys who tip the girls later take them to private, I have a studio in webcams, Good models make good money there ($1000 a week) with my models about 97% of this comes from private chats only about 3% comes from tips but there are other models who work the tip thing very well and make a large chunk of their earnings off tips, yes they have a lot of freeloaders there waiting for other guys to fork over some cash b but they also collect a lot of money from guests who contribute collectively to get the model to show in free, she says something like, If you guys give me $20 together, I'll finger my pussy for you. It works for them, I always encourage my models to take tips because like I said, about 80% of the time a guy tips he later takes the model private . Its one way to know for sure he has credits.

i had originally signed up for a free lifetime membership, more than 2 years ago.

found out today that they had been charging me $1 per week for the month of march. a closer inspection of my bank account revealed that they had drawn $1 a month for 28 months. and the recent month (march 2010) charged me by the week. a total of 32 dollars for a free lifetime membership.

i cancelled my account and sent them an angry email.

I stopped working at Webcams.com, because when I worked there a while back, I earned a little over $100 (which is the minimum for payout), and I NEVER got my money. The guy 'Jay' claimed that they sent it out, and he said that he would personally come by the house to issue me another check (your first payment is check...after that you can choose a different payment method). Well, I NEVER got a dime from them. I was very pissed, because $100 is a lot of money when you think about all the time you've sat and sat in FREE chat waiting to get private shows. So due to the fact that the site owes me $100, I would not recommend them to anyone and would never work for them again.

Does the site monitor the video as well as the text between the member and the model?
And does the site monitor the member's video also?
I would not like it that hte site can see me on video too.

To respond to what I had said before, yes, actually that WAS a Webcams studio I had been working through before, which is why I got ripped off.

I signed up through Webcams.com directly and have gotten my money, so it's all good.

Signing up directly through the actual site is always best!


And guest, I'm not sure about the monitoring. I don't think so though.
