This looks like a very intriguing site and concept. The big name behind it "Seymor Butts" and the advertising associated with it should hopefully put this new site in a league of its own. Should be quite the BIG deal! I hope so... its been a long long time since something with impressive traffic and concept came along!!

And so will everyone and their grandmother! That's the thing, the more people say how great the site is/will probaby be, the more hosts will go there, and then there is huge competition, and then it becomes real dog-eat-dog, like all the rest of the major adult sites.
Show me a GREAT site to work at, and I'll show you a site where it is very difficult to make really good money because millions of hosts work there, since it is a great site....Oh well, that's the way it goes in this business. |

Seymore Butts' camsite opened days ago, and I only see one camgirl there. Gee, what happened there? What happened to all the hoopla and fanfare regarding that site? There were at least 2 people who regularly post here that was going to sign-up....
Is it too late now for a brand new site to make it big in this business because of such fierce competition?

No news here. The cam business is a lot harder than it looks and good PR may be necessary but it isn't sufficient on it's own.
Hope they manage to get it together -- sometimes it takes time.

Perhaps this oversaturated market has actually reached its limit? There were no "camstars" online today either?
My enthusiasm withered fairly quickly as far as joining.. I tend to get a bit excited when I see "big name" production possibilities. Since then, I have stopped doing cam altogether... just does not work for me. I still do phone and other type of transactions but grew tired of the whole cam thingy.

Wonder what the average life-time of a cam girl is? I know I didn't stick it out very long -- but here I am still writing about it -- but I must admit the fun died out eventually of actually doing the shows.
The first few days were fantastic though -- never came so much in my life before.

I hear about the same as adult film actresses: Around 18 months.
Apparently, some girls still do extremely well, like at ImLive. I've heard some camgirls make $3,000.00-$4,000.00 every two weeks; their paycheck just gets bigger and bigger every year. Must be nice, but it's so much fun doing what I do now.
ImLive has expanded us mainstreamers to be able to have more than one host name--up to 5, so it's really great being there even more!!....
I'm now living with my new boyfriend of a couple of months (a New York thing---lol!). So financially things are better for me, and we are happy together....My start of the New Year is going well Angel...Not to ramble on and on here, so if anyone is interested in my life, just click to my blog. |
