impossible to work on tricams???

hey,

I tried to work as a performer on tricams. After I sent them all my paperworks and also a lot of emails (I come from germany, so telephone-calls are a little bit difficult) they told me they have a waiting list for performers.

a friend told me, she tried the same, half a year ago, tricams also told her that she is on the waiting list, but she is still waiting.

is here anybody who has the same experiences?? is it right that performers have to wait half a year or longer??

is here anybody, who was successful and works on tricams? and can tell me how she managed this??

We have worked with them for about a year, didnt have problem signing up and always receive our checks. Traffic was really great then and has slowed down abit . The down side is they are often difficult to reach.

Maybe you was registred on tricams, but that maybe 2 years ago, because from 2 years ago i was not find someone who was registred by himself, just some studios that have excplusivity and can registred anyone!!!

I tried join tricams many times and never got response by email or fax and their phone line is always busy. I never had problems joininng any sites before but tricams was the only one who ignored me , they never cared answer me even...Good luck for all who could joined it and work there but for me it was a big mystery and I am still wondering why they were so rude to me ..

I've been working there for 1 year till i didn't recive my money and my account was deleted without any explanation and answer to my emails...I know other chathosts taht didn't recive their money, too ((

Yes I agree about these sites who cut off chathosts. Maybe the chathosts have broken some rule; but at least they could be informed with a simple email!

It is just bad customer service -- and hsots are customers in that sense just as much as viewers.

I currently work on tricams. Have been there for 4-5 months. Yes they did take couple months to send me a reply that they had received my info. However, so far I must say it was worth the wait. I have always received my checks, the traffic is good and i make more money then i ever did on cumtv. The earnings average about $10 - $40 an hour, most often around the $20 range.

Seems like a no-win situation.

There may be many reasons for not accepting someone new, but
if they don't want someone because of the way they look,
they can't simply say that without hurting feelings. Lying about a "wait list"
(if they are lying) is not something I would ever do. It's just dishonest.

Yet, being selective might a big part of the reason traffic and money is good. A site much smaller than iFriends might be more profitable not only for the camhosts, but also for the owners because their selection strategy is different than "come one come all" places like iFriends have.

Competing with the giant player in any industry by simply mimicing them is always less desireable than creating a "unique value proposition." In my case it's the software I created itself, not the people using it. I'm not bound by the web broweser and neither are my authors / Fan Club owners.

But for a camsite, only able to do what can be done in a web browser, who represents the brand is an important part of the brand itself. Camhosts don't want to wear the wrong clothes while in their room either, for the same reason.

When the site enters an agreement with a studio, they are outsourcing the management of some camhosts to the studio itself, for a price. That's no small thing. For every N individual camhosts, a certain amount of real work must be done by employees. And employees cost money.

Of course there is no good excuse for not paying someone who deserves money after they earned it. That's just crooked.

I joined Tricams about a year ago and i did not having any problems joining. I always get my checks on time. I was removed from the site cuz i gave out my yahoo im so i could watch the viewers while they watch me in a pay show on their site, but they emailed me told me the problem after i promised never to give out any emails or my yahoo id again to view the guys cams they let me back on. I was also removed from that site for a whole other reason but after a few emails we worked everything out and now im back on tricams. They have always been very helpful to me and i have never had a problem getting a check or info from them even when i was suspened. I really like tricams. My friend has tried to join but they havent replied back to her in months so i dunno whats up with that but for me tricams rocks even thou i only get 30% of sales. its always busy for me on tricams and i do well.

I try and i opened some screennames on tricams..i make the papers and documents with age prove ..i give 50 $ to send them to tricams..but then surprise..we do no accept customers from Romania. NO COMMENT .

I have tried to join tricams half a year before, send them all my paperwork, wrote them about 20 e mails and than they told me, they would write me, when they have space for new chathosts. But they never wrote me in this 6 month.

perhaps they also dont like german chathosts
