SplitCam Problem

We have been using SplitCam for over six months now and have never had a problem with it. In the past few days, however, something very strange is happening with it on one of our PC's. The screen seems to ‘pulse’ brightly, filling the screen with colour, flickering on and off when it is in use.

We have tried it using two different cams and so the problem is not there. We have also reinstalled SplitCam once as well, but still the problem persists.

Has anyone any idea what the cause of the problem might be? And any idea how it might be possible to remedy it?

Here you go get rid of splitcam it's nothing but problems and they give no support whatsoever.
http://www.softservice.org/products_camsplitter.html I have never had any problems with this 1 and their always available for support if you run into any. Download the free trial first and see if it works for you!

Hi there !
I am using camsplitter too.

The only problem I have, that it costs me a lot system ressources because I am using Windows 98.
Soon I will change to XP hoping camsplitter will run fast and my computer too.

It may consume a lot of resources becouse you did not deselect the resolutions that u don't need. In tools panel on splitcam soft u have many resolutions starting with 160x120 and ending with 720x480. From that panel u only use 320x240, this is the only resolution that must be selected the rest of it deselect them(99% of cam sites use 320x240, in the case that a site use different resolution u can select again the resolution that the specific site use, and will work). This will save a lot of pc resources when using splitcam. Also avoid to use as much as possible, the color panel from splitcam, try to adjust the camera color from his own settings.(also color settings from splitcam, when used consume a lot of pc resources)

They might have better support now, but read the date on the post before jumping in on something. After splitcamera updated to this new version and got there forum up they do have better support now. But like I said they didn't.

I think Alexa right the first its FREE and the Second work much better than others .
