Im looking for a script

Im not too good with java or whatever other scripts are out there but I was wondering if anyone knows the script that............. hm how can i put this

Lets use ImLive as an example. When you are available they put your name above the unavailable people. Im looking for the code or program that does that.

Anyone have any idea?

Well I'm not exactly sure what you mean but here is a starting place for scripts. Some are free some are not, but probably the largest selection of scripts on the market are here. Some use cgi (Perl), php, or asp...just to name a few...But you will find that they all come with install directions and most are very user friendly. Only time you will run into issues is when you want to change something, like the way it works we call this "Hacks" not in the sense as the term hacker, but in any case maybe after looking at these you can find something close. If you cannot find what it is you are after we have a full team of programmers on staff, I’ll need a better description of what you are actually trying to do, maybe we can custom build you something. This is as simple as a database query, Ordered by the field that says they are online.

In Most cases the online status is contained in the database somewhere. In some cases the online status is handled by a script, though this method would be more taxing on the server I think. Sometimes its even handled by a cookie.

You must figure out first where the "online/offline" status is being kept.
