Imlive snapshots - help

I see a lot of chathosts working on ImLive so can you help me with this?
Whenever I try to take a snapshot a message appears in the members chatbox saying" JPEG control not registered" I'm using win sp2 but firewall is off , pop up blocker disabled, all cookies accepted.. but I just cant take snapshots....
Did any of you had this problem ?

There tech support sucks but its something wiht thier system not reconizing the camera

I had that problem and I called them and they were no help to me so I moved on.

Problem solved . So I'm posting this for others who might have this problem
Jpeg control is one of the Eyeball components.

When receiving this message please do the following:



In your browser: Go to Tools > Internet options > settings > view objects > Where a list of files (including Eyeball will be found).

You will need to go to EACH AND EVERY FILE> double click on EVERY file and go to DEPENDENCY tab.
Look for the program "Jpeg control.dll"
Once it is found, the program (in view objects ) has to be removed.

In Eyeball program, go to DEPENDENCY tab. You will see that Jpeg control.dll is marked with a *. This means that the program is missing.



You remove it in the following manner:

Once you have found the “Jpeg.dll” on the dependency tab, you should search for it on your PC.

You search for the program on your PC and delete it.

Once Jpeg control.dll is removed from the computer, the next time you create a snapshot/ videochats- you will receive a prompt message asking you to download the eyeball again> click on yes.

This will install the missing Jpeg control.dll into Eyeball

After you do this you will be able to take snapshots.

I seem to have the same problem as you did:
521: The JPEG control is not registered

I called ImLive and they sent me an e-mail, the same they sent to you.
Still, that's not the solution to my problem, since I continue not being able to take the snapshots. The e-mail sends me to:
BROWSER / TOOLS / INTERNET OPTIONS / SETTINGS / VIEW OBJECTS
which in fact opens the Downloaded Program Files window where I'm supposed to find a file named EyeBall. Well, there is no such file.

Also, the e-mail sais I should double click each file on that window and go to DEPENDENCY tab in order to look for a JPEG control.dll
1. I double click each file and they ask me to select a program to open with... I cannot find a program that would open the files so that I can go to DEPENDENCY tab as I'm being asked to do.

So... help me out, will you. Thanks.
