We are really thinking about doing webcam shows with single girl and couple stuff.
We do some kinky stuff, bondage and strapon's etc.
We have been looking for a good place to start that could make us some money to "pay the rent" and get us better equipment.
Anyone out there have some good input |

I stil think that iFriends is probably the best place for a "beginner" to start -- sign up here http://www.ifriends.net/expref.htm and don't forget to put my handle (honytsoi) down as your Referrer so they know I sent you!
Let me know if you want tips on getting started.

We have been wondering the same thing. We currently perform at tricams.com which gives us plenty of traffic, allows pre-recorded shows and has great real-time statistics. Our only complaint is that the commission is so low (they take 65%!). In our first week our gross earnings were around $1,500. Our take of that was just over $500.
While some sites with higher commissions seem attractive we have our reservations. Tricams allows us to have unlimited viewers without slowing our internet traffic down (they rebroadcast the feed). Another advantage is that they limit the number of chathosts so there is less competition within the site. Like I said, traffic is never a problem.
Does anyone have a breakdown of what other sites are paying commission-wise vs traffic volume?
Thanks!

Suzy, that's for sharing that info with us. Lots of people want that sort of info but never get it!
Did you work a lot of hours for that? When I was doing iFriends (I'm sort of "retired" now) I would only do an hour or so at a time and would probably net $20/hour if I was lucky which is 50%. But then some hours you'd get zero.
It was all the waiting around for customers that got me fed up and I found it less fun and sort of stopped doing it regularly.
I think the point about the tricams doing the hosting for the feed is real interesting; though it helps more if you are doing big groups of guys at the same time.
I found mostly that when one guy was with me others would come and say "oh you're occupied" and go away. So they would mostly be on-to-one sessions. Do you find that or can you attract groups?

Hey Hony, I have only performed as a couple but with only one exception have had VERY good luck. Tricams allows you to be in both "Live" chat and "Free" chat at the same time. Free chatters only see a thumbnail image of you so they can watch as you're performing for a "Live" user as well. This usually causes a lot of free viewers to come into the "Live" section. Although we occasionally only have one viewer it is more common to have 3 to 5 at any given time. We usually give 2.3-3 hour shows maybe 3 times a week. We average (net) about $55 - $60 /hour. Our pre-recorded shows usually bring in about $7/day ($210/month). All in all we can't complain I guess after hearing your story!
Another thing on tricams is that members in "Live" chat can't see the other users so they think that they have you all to themselves (in free chat they can see each other). Only members in "Live" chat can hear your audio.
Hope that helps somebody out!

Yes, I noticed most prefer one-on-one sessions. I guess they would rather have that so you can do what they want, not having to see you do things that pleases others but doesn't please them. |
