Okay... this may sound retarded... Iv been a cam girl for years... I feel I know the business inside out.... Im sick and Fawkin tired of site making it sooo great for guys by swamping their site with girls.. and leaving us girls with a show here and there. Whats worse is when the girls start lowering and lowering their price till they are charging 50 cents a minute like 1 of the biggest sites i know... can u belive the gusy are pissed when they have 2 pay 1.99.....
How would I ever go about opening my own cam site?
Where would I find the guys?
how do other sites find the guys? |

Im actually chelle.. I just 4got 2 log in... I guess this is a usless post that im making now.. but just fy1... lol
alos I have a site www.seachelle.net Im getting avrage 1000 visitors aday... they are useless as next to none pay.... some1 tell me what Im doing wrong... pls |

Hi chelle, welcome and do try to remember to login -- that way you can get notification of replies! Also I can then let you into the chat-host only forum.
Anyway, you have struck the nail on the head with your two complaints -- sites with millions of guys, yet your own site with a thousand guys but nobody pays.
This is the problem -- only a VERY rare guy will pay, so you need huge quantities if you are to get any paying customers.
So that's what you are paying the big chat companies like iFriends the 50% or more for, they find the guys, and find the ones who are willing to pay. Also by brining together lots of girls they make a more attractive environment for the guys to hangout and watch and, er, get "in the mood".

Price wars are bad for the seller and good for the consumer -- until the seller goes out of business and there isn't anything for the consumer to buy!
Law of economics, nothing specific to webcams!

1000 visitors a day sounds like a big number to me. What are you offering on your website? Oh, I just checked and I couldn't open it. 
Well, I didn't notice the date of the post. I hope your site being down is just temporary. If you are still around, chelle, I might have something that could make some of those 1000 people a day be "useful"
