Yeah, it's a lot for very basic hosting. Shop around, you can get it for $5 or less.

It's not very basic hosting. It comes with the site builder, which is flash, very nice. 5 email accounts, and tons more for $20. Cant beat it.

Ok I guess I don't see it that way as stuff like sitebuilder I see as a pretty useless -- and "5 email accounts" makes me look at it strange; most hosting companies would have unlimited.

Seems a bit like a geocities account, that sort of thing -- it's not actual web hosting.

UUmmm you guys need to open your eyes..

One it says nothing about bandwidth........ NOTHING that i could find... they say nothing about pictures or movies, or if you can sell ADULT products...

they say they can do ecommerce.. i dont suggest you try selling any adult tangible products there... very vague site....

20$/mth yeah geocities has, Yahoo even has i think. but then you are running along with 1000+ or more other little sites on the same box, trust me youll get EXACTLY what you pay for here...

looks like they only let you upload one image at a time.... try that with 50 images for a small gallery... OR MORE..

ive got a 20$/mth package gives 100megs space and 2gigs bandwidth. and comes with all those features you see there, well most of them. no auto site builder of course.
eerr well actually we do have a sitebuilder there for use by our clients but ive never used it and none have asked to use it. not as fancy as this but works. hell it even comes with this BBS you are using right here, if you want to set it up etc..


I mean really think about it, they supply all the graphics it looks like, they give you the top page intro flash banners and let you tweek them a little, but all in all give it a few years and your site will look like a 1000 other sites all hosted on the same box etc..

you can find free hosting that gives you these things also i believe, or you used to be able to. they would run a banner at the top of your page in exchange or bottom. not sure now.

The bottom line comes down to it, itll be great untill they get so many people on there service that bandwidth starts to bog, machine starts to bog, etc etc ..ever try to log on yahoo, and it takes a bit.. thats because everyones using it...

also most people, dont have a clue how to build a site even if its got step by step guides .... or most others dont have time, initiative, or want to. and would rather pay someone else to do it for them or learn it them selves and do it them selves.

Hosting is all over the place for cheap for expensive.. key things to look at are how much space am i getting, how much Bandwidth am i allowed to use, how much does space and bandwidth overages cost, will they host adult, can they handle the bandwidth and space needs for my future site at a resonable price, and ALWAYS look for the fine print, look at their TOS (terms of service)/AUP (acceptable use policy), if they dont have it on the web then call and ask.

pricing for normal sites is VERY cheap, pricing for adult sites is not, you have lots of images you have streaming video, hell you might even have live video.

The site above has no TOS/AUP, very fishy..... at least it wasnt where i could see it easily.

other things to keep in mind, If you are located in the USA, and choose to use someone outside the USA, that someone could tell you the world, sign anything and everything you want him to, take your money and go bye bye. and theres not a damn thing you can do about it.... unless you are rich and can afford to hire a lawyer from that country, and persue them that way.... or maybe hire a hitman instead rofl..
