Windows update on Tuesday

For any of you who have webcam sites. Microsoft has announced that this Tuesday 04/12/05 they will be forceing, thats right FORCEING any computer with XP on it to take SP2. So for those of you who don't know that will turn on the customers firewall automaticly. They will not have choice if they want the SP or not. Some will be smart and turn off their automatic updates. But SP2 is not a bad thing for the average user mostly corp networks get bangged the most from the firewall issue. But anyway if you start getting blasted with customer support requests on Tuesday because some people can't see your cam shows I would look first to see if the customer got the SP without knowing an now has their FW on..
Also if you are running any scripts or pop up etc etc, these will be affected also. I'm sure most of you know this already but figured I would just place that here.

Good point, I tend to forget there are still people out there without SP2! The browser world is changing and webmasters need to keep up.

Of course I shouldn't talk -- I still have lots of code that doesn't work right in SP2 (or firefox!)
