It is hard to know whether to laugh or not at the idea of a site called
HotWetCams -- I presume the domain "hotwebcams" is by now taken so they have
gone for a rather liquid version of the name.
But put aside your images of excessive squirting misting up the webcam lens
-- I'm afraid this is a pretty basic webcam site with that (as of early 2008)
"just getting started" look about it although it has been online in it's current
form since Oct 2007 by the look of things.
First time I looked there were 11 hosts online, all Asians from the
Philippines it appears, and
epoch.com as their billing agent there isn't a lot unique here. More
recently there were just a couple of cams online which is a trend in the wrong
direction.
Free
chat is available and pay chat is 1.99/minute using the latest version of the
SoftVideo webcam software, including cam2cam. With audio (for which there
is no volume control).
There is also group chat at 1.50 and voyuer -- look but no chat -- at
1.00/minute for those of you who want a bargin.
The hosts didn't seem that responsive so I suppose they are in splitcam on
more than this site. Overall it's pretty quiet with not a lot of chatters.
For those of you wanting to chat to do private without using a credit card
they boast phone billing but I couldn't make that option work. Maybe I
need to signup first.
Hosts are currently getting 60% cut of the income -- though this is supposed
to be a promotional and go down to a "regular" 50% at some unspecified point.
I can't see anything about payment terms though so that point would need
clarification before anybody did much work there.
