13 Dec 04: Brief review of Amateurdatingcams, an English front for PX24.

12 Dec 04: I realized I was wrong when I previously reviewed one2one.  What I missed before is that the choice they give you between "dial up" and "broadband" gives you different technology (java vs activeX) for the video.  And the broadband/activeX is extremely good video.

10 Dec 04: You know how closely the different cam sites watch one another when ideas 'flow' from one to the other.  Seems camcontacts have been watching imlive and they have merged the imlive "HappyHour", where chat with selected girls is discounted, with the 20-seconds-free that imlive gives to create "Holiday Hotties" at camcontacts.  The deal is you get 3 minutes free with a host (only one free session per host per day though), but from selected hosts only.  You have to be signed up and there is no interruption when you get to the end of the 3 free minutes, you go straight into fee-paying with only an on-screen text notification.  Looks like a fun teaser but really 3 minutes isn't very long.  I haven't been able to find the rules for how this works for the host, is there still money involved for them?  Anybody who knows please tell me.

7 Dec 04: Tomorrow Flirt4free are doing another pornstar show -- this time with Tera Patrick and Carmen Luvana, so they are advertising it as a "Bi-Sexual / Bi-Lingual" show.  As usual Flirt4free VIP members get into the show for free.  So far flirt4free are the only site which is managing to keep big-name shows up on a regular basis.  I think that reflects their better connections into other parts of the adult entertainment world, as well as probably better funding.

4 Dec 04: Recently imlive have improved their video size a lot as well as made some other small changes that I haven't all investigated yet.  But the video is considerably better than before.

Didn't measure it but it's at least a quarter of the screen at 1024 resolution -- that's after hitting the "Expand" button which does make it slightly blocky but as I said still a lot better than before.  Check it out.

1 Dec: SecretFriends seems to be really popular, I guess the cute girlie look people like.  A lot of visitors come here just to use the redirect to secretfriends because you can't get to the free video if you go directly, you need to go via a referrer like my site.
